The right side of the offensive line on the Miami football team is unsettled a few weeks before training camp commences at the end of July. Cleveland Reed will be in the mix to become the starter at right guard. Left guard is likely to be rising junior Navaughn Donaldson who started most of the last two seasons at right guard.
Reed signed with the Miami football program in 2018 as the nation’s 259th best player, the 12th ranked offensive guard and the 48th ranked player in his class according to 247Sports.Com. Reed is a part of a cluster of about five offensive linemen battling to start on the right side for the Hurricanes.
