Guard Kameron McGusty is taking advantage of the extra year granted by the NCAA and has decided to return to the Miami basketball program for the 2021-22 season. McGusty announced via social media on Tuesday he is withdrawing his name from the 2022 NBA Draft. Guard Isaiah Wong remains in the draft of now.
McGusty was second on the Miami basketball team with an average of 13.3 points per game among regulars during the 2021-22 season. In an injury-filled season throughout the Hurricanes roster, McGusty started 18 of the 20 games he played last season but missed seven contests with a hamstring injury.
