Miami basketball loses depth with Anthony Mack transfer

Anthony Mack joined the Miami basketball program for the 2018-19 season as a transfer from Wyoming. Mack received immediate eligibility after sitting out his Freshman season at Wyoming because of concussions. Mack tweeted on Wednesday afternoon that he was leaving the program.

“I have officially entered the NCAA transfer portal…I will be leaving the University of Miami.”

Mack averaged 2.6 points and one rebound, playing 15.4 minutes d in 28 games during the 2018-19 season. Mack came to Miami with a reputation as a good three-point shooter. He wasn’t able to live to that status.
