Miami Basketball hurt by players heavy minutes late in games

Dewan Hernandez’s ineligibility, the injury to Deng Gak, the decision to redshirt Rodney Miller and the addition of only two new players for the 2018-19 season have all contributed to the short bench the Miami Basketball team has this season. Fatigue has been an issue late in games.

Miami has four of the top 23 players in the ACC in minutes played per game. The Hurricanes Chris Lykes and Anthony Lawrence are tied for sixth in the conference with 33.5 minutes played per game. Dejan Vasiljevic is 15th with 32.1 and Zach Johnson 23rd at 30.
