The Miami basketball team hosts Georgia Tech on Saturday with the announcements this week that freshman wing Earl Timberlake is out for the season and senior guard Chris Lykes is unlikely to return. Miami has dealt with significant absences throughout its roster for the third straight season.
Lykes has missed all but the first two games of the season after suffering a severely sprained ankle. Timberlake has played in only seven games this season and is out for the rest of the year with an injured shoulder.
