Miami basketball rising guard senior Dejan Vasijlevic has scored 55 points in Australia’s first three games at the World University Games in Napoli, Italy. Vasiljevic has scored over 20 percent of the Emerging Boomers 257 points in the tournament.
The Aussies rebounded after a decisive 92-64 loss to Israel in their tournament opener. They defeated the Czech Republic 88 – 59 and Mexico 105 – 62 to finish pool play 2-1.
Vasiljevic has led the offense. He is averaging 18.6 points per game, contributed 11 rebounds, five assists and seven steals in the three games.
