Miami Basketball’s Sam Waardenburg bounced back from a tough game shooting from the field in New Zealand’s game one win in New Zealand’s game two loss to France. He was five of nine from the floor and four of six from the free-throw line. Waardenburg missed both of his three-point attempts.
With the loss, the Kiwis drop into a second-place tie in Group A with Argentina. Argentina destroyed South Korea 100-76. The Argentines and Tall Blacks will meet in the final game of Pool A.
