Rivals.Com told Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald last week that Harland Beverly was the second best-uncommitted guard in the Class of 2019. His commitment to the Miami basketball program vaulted the Hurricanes recruiting class to 25th nationally according to 247Sports composite rankings.
Beverly is the third player to commit to the Miami basketball program in the Class of 2019. Four-star combo guard Isaiah Wong and three-star forward Anthony Walker signed NLIs with the Hurricanes in November. Beverly is a key commit for the Hurricanes. He was expected to sign with Michigan State.
