The 6’7 guard has shown his all-around game through the Suns first two NBA Summer League games that made him the 32nd overall pick in last month’s NBA draft. Reed was able to overcome a tough shooting afternoon by contributing seven points, two assists and two steals in an 88-77 Suns loss to Dallas.
Reed shot just 3-14 from the floor, and 0-7 on three-point attempts. He was 5-6 from the line to finish with 11 points. He also struggled by committing four turnovers.
After not playing in the Nets opening game of the summer league, Murphy played nine minutes in the second game, an 88-83 Nets loss to Milwaukee.
