Less than a week before the NBA Draft, Reed’s injury could hinder his draft status. The other players scheduled to workout in Philadelphia today per Philly.Com were Pittsburgh’s Jamel Artis, Connecticut’s Amida Brimah, Virginia’s London Perrantes and Weber State’s Jeremy Senglin.
Reed and Artis were considered the headliners of the workouts. If he gets drafted, Reed will go in the second round. Philadelphia owns the 39th, 46th and 50th picks in the second round of next Thursday’s draft.
Reed has worked out for several other teams. That includes the Pacers, Lakers, and the Magic.
