Tuesday night’s game took 5:40 including over an hour of rain and lightning delays. After falling behind 3-0 in the top of the first on Tuesday night the Miami baseball team came back with one in the bottom of the first, five in the second and scored nine runs in the first four innings to surge ahead and never trailed.
The Hurricanes bullpen nearly blew the 9-3 lead. Florida Gulf Coast scored two runs in the top of the sixth before both teams combined to scored four runs each in the seventh and eighth to reach the 13-9 Miami victory.
