The two-game series is the first two games of a three-game season series that will conclude next Wednesday in Coral Gables. The Miami baseball team is coming off of a weekend series win against Florida State. The Hurricanes shutout the Seminoles in the first two games and outscored them 20-6 in the three games.
Miami improved to 20-12 overall and 7-8 in the ACC with the series win this weekend. Florida Gulf Coast is 22-9 and 4-2 in the Atlantic Sun Conference. The Eagles biggest win this season was over Florida in the second of a two-game series in Gainesville last month.
