CORAL GABLES, Fla. –Coming off a perfect 4-0 week and a series sweep of Clemson, the Miami Hurricanes baseball team was ranked in the top five of every major baseball poll released Monday.
The Hurricanes jumped three spots to No. 2 in theUSA TODAYCoaches Poll with 715 points, trailing only top-ranked Texas A&M (757). Miami jumped both Florida (No. 3) and Vanderbilt (No. 4), and received four first-place votes.
Miami (20-4, 7-2 ACC) moved up one spot to No. 3 inBaseball America’s top 25, marking its highest ranking from the publication since being ranked No.
