The Miami baseball team lost two out of three in Gainesville this weekend against Florida. The Hurricanes took the opening game of the series to begin the season 5-0. It also handed Florida a three-game losing streak.
The Gators came back to win the final two games of the series. A bullpen collapse in the second game of the series by Miami prevented the Hurricanes from winning the first two games. Wednesday night’s game is the last of four straight on the road after the three in Gainesville.
A win on Wednesday night and a sweep this weekend of Maryland-Baltimore county might move the Miami baseball team into the national rankings.
