The Miami baseball team’s performance in non-conference games this season has been critical in their revival after missing the NCAA Tournament the last two seasons. The Hurricanes are 10-2 in games played on Tuesday and Wednesday. They played a Thursday game at Louisville as part of a three-game series Easter Weekend.
Wednesday night’s game is the only meeting between the Hurricanes and the Knights this season. The teams split two games in 2018. The visiting team won both games. Miami enters the midweek showdown one of the hottest teams in college baseball. The Hurricanes have won 14 of their last 16 games.
