Miami baseball completes week undefeated after sweeping Towson

The Miami baseball team improved to 8-3 on the season with a weekend sweep of Towson following their walk-off victory over South Florida on Wednesday. The Hurricanes received stellar pitching throughout the weekend outscoring the Tigers 19-6 in the three games.

Miami defeated South Florida 7-5 on Wednesday afternoon with a Raymond Gil two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. The victories over the Bulls and Tigers kept the Hurricanes undefeated this season outside of the sweep by the Gators in Coral Gables last weekend.

Miami won 9-3 in the series finale against Towson on Sunday after the Tigers rallied from a 3-0 deficit after three innings.
