Four multiple run innings fueled the victory for the Miami baseball team over Florida Atlantic. The Hurricanes scored five runs in the top of the first, added two more in the second and never trailed. Miami’s offense was able to get healthy against an Owls pitching staff that entered the night with a 4.20 ERA.
Jordan Lala, Raymond Gil and Alex Toral all hit home runs for Miami. Toral’s home run was 12th of the season and ties him for the ACC lead with James McCann of Georgia Tech pending what he did against Georgia on Wednesday night.
