The Miami Hurricanes earned their 20th win of the season with another shutout victory on Saturday night. With the win the Hurricanes won the series against the Florida State Seminoles for the first time since 2016.
Chris McMahon followed Evan McKendry’s performance with an incredible game of his own. The sophomore worked seven innings, allowing just three hits while striking out nine. Daniel Federman and Greg Veliz worked two innings to finish things out, allowing just one hit and striking out three combined.
Miami got on the board in the bottom of the third off of a Gabe Rivera solo home run.
