Clemson, SC - As usual, life away from home can be trying in the ACC, but the University of Miami (9-3, 1-1) survived its first conference road test, escaping Littlejohn Coliseum with a 73-68 overtime victory against a struggling Clemson squad.
With Clemson head coach Brad Brownell attempting to cool his increasingly-toasty hot seat, and avoid an 0-3 start to conference play, the Tigers (6-7, 0-3) built an early 19-11 lead, eventually increasing their advantage to 55-45 in the second half. But that’s when the Chris Lykes and the Hurricanes went to work, outscoring Clemson 17-7 over the final 8:33 to force overtime.
