McClellan helps No. 17 Hurricanes beat Florida 66-55

They both came in expecting it to be physical, hard-fought, and intense.

That's usually what happens when the Hurricanes and Gators meet, regardless of the sport and Tuesday night, that proved to be the case yet again with players from both teams contesting loose balls and rebounds, driving to the rim and pushing each other to the limit.

Ultimately, though, the Hurricanes proved too much for the Gators with 17th-ranked Miami outlasting Florida 66-55 in front of a sellout crowd of 7,972 at the BankUnited Center on Miami's campus.

The upset-minded Gators entered Tuesday's matchup looking to do to Miami what the Hurricanes did to them a season ago.
