What player’s development has surprised you?
That’s a fantastic question. On the offensive side of the ball, part of me wants to say Anez Cooper, and part of me even wants to say Xavier Restrepo. Coming out of high school as a 3-star, I certainly liked Cooper’s size, but knew it would take a few years for him to develop into a starter. Well, he sped up the process starting every game last year, and is one of the key pieces in Miami’s offensive line this season.
