Since taking over the Miami Hurricanes program Richt has made it a priority to connect to the past. There were numerous Twitter posts from Hurricanes athletes and coaches from the past who attended the tournament.
The Tournament is put on by the UMSHOF to benefit Habitat for Humanity, the HOF and a couple of other charities in Islamorada, Florida. This year’s host was multiple Hall of Fame inductee Ted Hendricks.
