Manny Diaz cleared out the Miami Hurricanes offensive staff after he was hired Sunday night following the sudden retirement of former Miami Football Coach Mark Richt. Diaz fired the entire offensive staff in the late afternoon on New Year’s Eve.
Diaz, Athletic Director Blake James and the Board of Trustees wanted a fresh start offensively. There has been a lot of speculation surrounding who will be hired to fill the vacated roles on the offensive staff.
Early in the week, it was thought that former North Carolina Head Coach Larry Fedora would be hired to become the new Offensive Coordinator for Miami.
