Manny Diaz: Miami Hurricanes haven’t used full Tate Martell package

Tate Martell is the most versatile player on the Miami Hurricanes roster. He would have been highly graded coming out of high school as a quarterback or as a runner. Martell was the 56th ranked player and second dual-threat QB nationally in the 2017 recruiting class. He will be used a variety of ways for Miami in 2019.

During an appearance on the Joe Rose Show on WQAM on Wednesday, Miami head coach Manny Diaz was asked if Martell will be used more at wide receiver in the future. Diaz is excited about Martell’s vast ability and the pressure he puts on a defense.
