Lingard is a unique mention because unlike Bandy and Thomas, Lingard has yet to play a snap for the Miami Hurricanes. Not only has Lingard caught the attention of ACC Digital, but Athlon Sports listed Lingard as one of college football’s 20 impact true freshmen for 2018.
According to 247Sports, Lingard was ranked as a five-star recruit and the second best running back in the country coming out of high school in 2018. The U.S. All-American ranked as the sixth best player in the state of Florida and the 25th best player overall by 247Sports.
