CORAL GABLES — Nearly all of the Hurricanes’ 26 high-school commits signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, helping Miami secure one of its best-ever recruiting classes — at least on paper.
As of early Friday afternoon, the Hurricanes are still waiting on their top prospect, five-star cornerback Cormani McClain, to sign after delaying his planned signing ceremony. But whether McClain ultimately ends up in Coral Gables or not, Miami’s class is loaded with talent.
The class (including McClain) is currently rated fourth in the nation in 247Sports’ rankings and is the top class in the ACC.
