Lawrence Cager Needs To Be A Bigger Part Of This Offense

Coming into this season, receiver Lawrence Cager was expected to be a crucial part of the Miami offense, lining up opposite side of Ahmmon Richards. In fact, in many of my pre-season, I had Cager as the darkhorse for the Canes offense in 2018.

Through the first three games, we’ve seen Cager, but honestly, we need more of 18.

The redshirt junior has proven what he can do when he gets the ball, and against Toledo he proved just that. Cager was targeted three times, and had three receptions. One went for a touchdown on a jump-ball.
