University of Miami offensive linemen Trevor Darling and Jahair Jones were arrested Wednesday night after allegedly impeding traffic and "resisting officer without violence."
Susan Miller Degnan of the Miami Herald reported an arrest affidavit shows the men were arrested after ignoring multiple requests by two officers to leave a roadway in Miami Beach.
On Thursday, Jones saw his charges dropped following his court appearance, per Degnan. Darling was expected to have a similar result to his case on Friday, following his own court date.
The affidavit for Jones stated the Hurricanes player acknowledged the police request but did not follow their orders: "The defendants were arrested and removed from the roadway.
