Other than the titan coaches of college football like Nick Saban, Dabo Swinney and Urban Meyer, Mark Richt’s position as Head Coach of the Miami Hurricanes has to be as secure as anyone in college football.
He was left a mess by his predecessor Al Golden. In a year and a half on the job, Richt has helped lead the Hurricanes to their first bowl victory in ten seasons, helped secure the groundbreaking for a new indoor practice facility and has Miami poised to have the nation’s top-ranked recruiting class in 2018.
Any of those should be good enough to have one of the nation’s most secures jobs, the combination of all three should have Richt’s job status secure for the foreseeable future.
