The Miami Hurricanes Women’s Basketball team moved back above .500 with a win over rival FSU on Sunday afternoon. The Hurricanes are 8-7 on the season after the 68-53 win and could be poised for a strong end to the season over their last six games of the year. The win over FSU also marked Head Coach Katie Meier’s 300th career win at Miami.
Miami’s next opponent will be Virginia Tech. The Hokies have had a strong season so far, going 10-7 so far this season. It’ll be a tough matchup for the Hurricanes who had lost their last two games in a row before defeating Florida State last week.
