After capping off a record-breaking regular season with the Miami Hurricanes, wide receiver Charleston Rambo has declared his intentions to enter the upcoming NFL draft, he announced Friday on Twitter.
Rambo, who transferred from Oklahoma earlier this year, not only became the program’s single-season leader in receiving yards (1,172), the Cedar Hill, Texas native also became the single-season leader in receptions (79). The records were previously held by Allen Hurns and Leonard Hankerson, respectively.
Rambo, a redshirt junior, will forgo his final year of eligibility. He was given another season due to the extension given by the COVID-19 pandemic, with the 2020 season not counting towards eligibility.
