It didn’t take long for the Miami Hurricanes to remember how important this week is for the program.
Within two minutes of celebrating its third consecutive win on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium with a 33-30 victory over Georgia Tech, UM was quickly reminded that if it wants to extend its winning streak to four games and become bowl-eligible with a sixth win on the year, it’ll have to do so against rival Florida State.
“It’s everything — it’s the game,” Miami offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee said on Tuesday. “Everybody knows their number. I’ve played Florida State twice in my career — once was last year and once was in 2013.
