Okay, so it wasn’t the greatest of days for the Hurricanes first-string offense, which struggled throughout much of Miami’s spring game on Saturday evening.
But one of the biggest takeaways (aside from having to improve the offensive line) was this: every indication is that the Hurricanes made it through the game in relatively good health and that’s one of the first things coach Mark Richt noted in his post-game comments to reporters at Hard Rock Stadium.
As to some of the other notes Saturday:
While spring games usually mark the end of spring practice for football teams, that isn’t the case for Miami, which will practice Tuesday and Thursday, then have a closed scrimmage on Saturday to finish things off.
