With three prospects signing from the storied Liberty City high school in the heart of Miami on Wednesday of college football’s Early Signing Period, it’s the most since UM’s top-ranked 2008 recruiting class brought in eight from Northwestern’s national championship-winning 2007 team.
The pride that safety Kamren Kinchens, receiver Romello Brinson and tight end Kahlil Brantley bring in going from the Bulls to the Hurricanes will be evident upon their arrival in Coral Gables.
“Being in that position, we’re ready for it,” said Brantley. “We come with it because we’re at home. We come from a school that has faced a lot of adversity every year, every game, so we’re prepared for it.
