Hurricanes running back Don Chaney Jr. was involved in a serious car crash near the University of Miami campus on Thursday night, according to multiple reports.
Another driver made a left turn in front of Chaney’s car, and they collided, according to a report by Andy Slater.
A Hurricanes spokesperson has not responded to requests for comment or confirmation. A University of Miami Police Department spokesperson referred the Sun Sentinel to the Coral Gables Police Department, which has not responded to a request for information.
Chaney, who has played three seasons with Miami, was reportedly not severely hurt in the crash.
