The Miami Hurricanes are in line to sign one of their best recruiting classes in recent memory, and it begins on Wednesday, the first day of college football’s Early Signing Period.
UM already has 20 commitments it expects to sign and is hopeful to add four-star quarterback prospect Jake Garcia, among others, to the recruiting class in the three-day window that precedes the traditional National Signing Day on Feb. 3.
Garcia, from California but playing his high school senior season in Georgia, is slated to announce his college of choice in a 6:30 p.m. ceremony. The Hurricanes have been thought of as the team to beat in his recruitment since he backed off his longtime pledge to Southern Cal earlier in December.
