CORAL GABLES — The Hurricanes did not have any hangover after Friday night’s shutout loss to Notre Dame.
With a shot at the ACC regular-season title on the line, Miami came out swinging in their final regular-season game, launching six home runs in a 16-7 win over the Fighting Irish in Game 3 of the series at Mark Light Field in Coral Gables on Saturday.
The home-run barrage started early. Catcher Maxwell Romero Jr. hit the first of two home runs with a two-run blast, and freshman right fielder Zach Levenson added a two-run home run of his own.
