Veteran Hurricanes offensive lineman DJ Scaife Jr. delivered his parting message to Miami fans on Monday before he tests his luck in the professional ranks and enters the NFL draft.
“I am forever grateful for the opportunity to play at the University of Miami,” Scaife wrote on his Instagram account. “I would like to thank y coaches, teammates and the staff for the support they have given me and how they’ve impacted my life.”
Scaife, who played five seasons at Miami, has been a key member of the Hurricanes offensive line. He played in 60 games and started 52 during his career.
