Big changes have come to Coral Gables, and they will be on display when the Hurricanes begin spring practices on March 4.
Mario Cristobal, entering his second year as Miami’s head coach, brought in two new coordinators after firing offensive coordinator Josh Gattis and losing defensive coordinator Kevin Steele to Alabama.
“Every time there’s a change, whether it happened or whether you forced it to happen, it’s an opportunity to upgrade,” Cristobal said in an interview with WQAM Friday morning.
Cristobal and Hurricanes fans hope he got those upgrades in the form of offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson and defensive coordinator Lance Guidry.
