After North Carolina’s record-breaking performance in a 62-26 rout of the Miami Hurricanes in the regular-season finale on Saturday, UM coach Manny Diaz remained noncommittal on what he’ll do with defensive coordinator Blake Baker.
On Monday, Diaz said he’ll wait until after Miami’s bowl game to make any decisions regarding the coaching staff.
“I’ll answer the question about staff, really, the same way I did a year ago, which is that my feeling is that you wait for a season to end,” Diaz said. “You evaluate a season in its entirety, and then you do what’s best to improve the football team.
