The Miami Hurricanes aren’t being shy in acknowledging they haven’t performed at the level they expected before the season started.
With its loss to Virginia on Thursday night at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami dropped to 2-3 and 0-1 in the ACC entering its bye week, with its next game coming on Oct. 16 with a matchup at North Carolina.
The Hurricanes haven’t played well offensively or defensively, with their season averages of 30.4 points (No. 59 in the nation) and 27 points allowed (No. 83 in nation) significantly helped by their 69-0 blowout of Central Connecticut State, a lower-division FCS program, on Sept.
