Miami Hurricanes legendary quarterback Ken Dorsey has left his coaching post at Appalachian State to become the Buffalo Bills quarterback coach. Dorsey, who guided the University of Miami to a 38-2 record as the starter, has taken an interesting approach to the coaching game. Dorsey came to the University of Miami from Orinda, CA after being discovered by Larry Coker and Butch Davis. He guided Miami as starting quarterback to a National Championship season in 2001, and a controversial 2003 Fiesta Bowl loss to Ohio State (for the 2002 season).
Dorsey became the starting quarterback at Miami in 1999 after Kenny Kelly went down with an injury.
