The Miami Hurricanes missed out on Tyrique Stevenson when he was a recruit out of Miami Southridge High in the 2019 class. After picking Georgia over UM back then, two years later, he’s coming home.
Stevenson, a sophomore, announced on Saturday that he will transfer to the Hurricanes after entering the NCAA’s transfer portal on Monday night.
In 10 games with the Bulldogs in 2020, Stevenson collected 34 tackles, one for loss, and added five pass deflections.
As a freshman in 2019, Stevenson had 13 tackles, a sack and five pass deflections in nine games played.
