Hurricanes star Isaiah Wong keeps adding accolades to his resume.
The Miami guard was named an AP All-American honorable mention on Tuesday. He is the first UM player to earn a spot on the AP’s All-American team since Shane Larkin was voted to the second team in 2013.
Wong, who was named the ACC Player of the Year on March 6, leads Miami in points (16.2), assists (3.4) and steals (1.4) per game. He also is averaging 4.3 rebounds this season.
Wong also has been nominated for the John R. Wooden Award and the Lute Olson Award, which are given to the national player of the year.
