The Hurricanes already knew they were headed to a bowl game.
Now they know where they’re headed – though they don’t yet know who they’ll play there.
Miami, which secured bowl eligibility last month with its win over Virginia Tech, learned on Sunday it has earned a spot in the Pinstripe Bowl in New York City on Dec. 27.
While New York isn’t exactly the warm-weather locale some of the Hurricanes players said they’d prefer to play in in late December, the selection does bring with it some prestige as one of the ACC’s Tier 1 games.
