Less than 24 hours before the Hurricanes play a road game against Virginia, they got some good news from another part of the state.
Three-star safety Kaleb Spencer, a Virginia native, flipped his commitment from Oklahoma to Miami on Friday night.
“It wasn’t an easy decision but sometimes we are called to be apart (sic) of a bigger future than we imagined for ourselves,” Spencer wrote on his Twitter account. “However, after extensive thoughts, prayers and talks with my loved ones ... I would like to announce I will be flipping my commitment to the University of Miami!
