Miami women’s basketball coach Katie Meier will be staying in Coral Gables for the next five years.
The Hurricanes extended Meier’s contract by two more seasons, the school announced on Monday. Her contract runs through the 2026-27 season.
“Katie is a terrific coach, teacher and mentor for our student-athletes and an outstanding representative for Miami Athletics on and off the court,” athletic director Dan Radakovich said in a press release. “We are excited to have her continue to lead our women’s basketball program for many more seasons to come.”
