CORAL GABLES — Sophomore wide receiver Colbie Young is turning into a dangerous receiving threat for Miami.
The Hurricanes standout was named the ACC Receiver of the Week on Monday after racking up 127 receiving yards and scoring two touchdowns in a loss to the Blue Devils.
Saturday’s performance was Young’s second straight game with more than 100 receiving yards after he notched 110 receiving yards against Virginia Tech.
“I think you’re seeing the confidence grow in him,” offensive coordinator Josh Gattis said after the Virginia Tech win. “It’s growing in him in our staff, it’s growing in him in our players.
