As injuries have hit the Hurricanes hard in recent weeks, Miami coach Mark Richt has generally been tight-lipped about the progress some of his players are making, noting more than once that many of them are considered "day-to-day” when it comes to how often they’ll practice.
As the eighth-ranked Hurricanes had their first extended practice ahead of Saturday’s game against Syracuse, though, it seems some of Miami’s injured players are making progress, including receiver Ahmmon Richards and safety Sheldrick Redwine.
Both Richards and Redwine participated during the portion of Tuesday’s practice available for reporters to watch.
