After a disappointing Wednesday for Miami Hurricanes recruiting, UM added an offensive lineman on the second day of college football’s Early Signing Period on Thursday.
Miami signed New York-based offensive tackle Adam ElGammal, the Hurricanes’ football Twitter account announced.
ElGammal hails from Christ the King Regional in Queens. He took an official visit to Coral Gables over the weekend, and the former Cincinnati commit backed off that pledge shortly thereafter.
ElGammal is a three-star prospect, according to 247 Sports, two-star in the Rivals rankings and has no rating with ESPN.
